Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put all the ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, take off the heat allowing it to cool down fully. Decant to a clean bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it will last for around one month.
For the Batch Mix: Pour the specified spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix to a cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir lightly for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of mandarin oil above the glass.
